These are photos of the National Night Out against crime at the Blue Island Police Station on August 2nd 2011. There was live entertainment by Denny Diamond, a Neil Diamond impersonator and local Mexican Folk Dancers. There were also raffles, tours of the Police Station and a K 9 demonstration. Several agencies joined us, such as the Blue Island Fire Department, Cook County Forest Preserve Police Department, Illinois State Police, Posen Police, Blue Island Public Library, Blue Island Senior office and the Boy Scouts all attended. Beggars Pizza provided pizza and Double Play Saloon provided hot dogs.
